Mean Girls alumnus apologizes for publicizing her relationship drama in a lengthy Instagram post.
If you haven’t heard about Lindsay Lohan’s recent relationship drama, here’s an update. The 30-year-old former child star reportedly woke neighbors while having a fight with her new fiance Egor Tarabasov. According to The Sun, the actress was overheard saying Tarabasov was trying to kill her. “He just strangled me. He almost killed me,” she screamed from her balcony. “Do it. I dare you again. You’re f*g crazy. You sick f**k. You need help. It’s my house; get out of my house.”
The situation led to the police being called, who arrived 10 minutes later. After breaking down the door to Lohan’s apartment, the cops found it empty.
A few days later, the Mean Girls alumnus took to Instagram to disclose that there was indeed trouble in paradise. “I guess I was the same at 23… Sh*tty time- it changes at 26/27,” she wrote in a now deleted post. “Thanks for not coming home tonight. Fame changes people.”
In another deleted post, she accused her fiance of cheating and then posted a series of tweets that suggested she was pregnant.
Since the drama subsided, the star figured apologies were in order. In a lengthy Instagram post, the star addresses her followers. “Dear friends. I’m good and well,” she starts the post, that goes along with a picture of her looking carefree on a boat. “#ATM I am taking time for myself with good friends. I am sorry that I’ve exposed certain private matters recently. I was acting out of fear and sadness.”
“We all make mistakes. Sadly mine have always been so public,” she writes. “I have done a lot of soul searching in the past years, and I should have been more clear minded rather than distract from the good heart that I have.”
Even after all the supposed abuse and cheating, Lohan still seems to be hopeful when it comes to her relationship. “Maybe things can be fixed… Maybe not.. I hope they can. But I am 30 years old and I do deserve a #GENTLEgiant,” she writes. “Life is about love and light. Not anger. Thank you to those who stand by my side.”
