Friends is coming back to NBC! To honor comedy director James Burrows, the original cast—Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer—is reuniting for a single two-hour special on February 21, according to Entertainment Weekly. Remember when Ross “claimed” that red sweater, thus confirming that he was the father of Rachel’s baby? Once Ross claimed the sweater, fans found out the truth. It was a pretty awesome moment!

When Brad Pitt guest starred on the show, it was a big deal! He played Will, an old friend of Ross’s in the 2001 episode “The One with the Rumor.” The best part? Will tells Rachel that he made an “I-hate-Rachel-Greene Club” in high school.

 

Chandler Tells Monica He Loves Her

 

 

What an amazing moment in Friends history! The first time that Chandler tells Monica he loves her, she was wearing a turkey on her head … yes, like an actual real Thanksgiving turkey.

Was there a dry eye in any living room when Monica proposed to Chandler? There were candles lit as Monica got down on one knee and asked Chandler to marry her … how romantic was that?!

It was pretty hilarious seeing Danny DeVito guest star on Friends. The actor showed up for Phoebe’s bachelorette party… and played the role of a male stripper (he was dressed as a cop).

If you watched Friends, you know that the gang always hung out on the sofa at Central Perk, but they weren’t always lucky enough to grab the comfy seats. One time they walked into the coffee shop, saw that the couch was taken, and immediately turned around and left!

Before Snookie on Jersey Shore, there was Ross on Friends! What happens when you don’t count five Mississippi fast enough? You stay in the tanning booth way too long. Ross ended up with quite a hilarious tan … on the front of his body only.

Rachel leaves a voice mail for Ross while she’s on an airplane and ends up trying to get off the plane because she realizes she’s in love with him. Moments later, she walks through the door and says, “I got off the plane.” Talk about a cry-fest!

Joey gets upset with Chandler for taking his underwear … so he goes into their apartment and puts on all of Chandler’s clothes. His famous line? “Look at me! I’m Chandler. Could I be wearing any more clothes?”

 

“Someone Ate My Sandwich!”

 

 

Ross gets super-upset when someone at work eats his sandwich: the only good thing left in his life. Despite his attempts to protect his lunch—he left a “knock knock” joke attached to it—someone still ate his sandwich, and he was devastated!

 

Ross and Rachel’s First Date

 

 

After much anticipation, Ross and Rachel finally go on a first date. The couple goes to a museum and talks about some funny things—namely, premature ejaculation. And who could forget awww-dorable Rachel’s line: “You were worth the wait.”

You wouldn’t think a new sofa would make for such a classic scene. But when Ross purchases a new sofa for his apartment and enlists Rachel and Chandler to help him carry it up the stairs, things get pretty silly. The couch ends up getting stuck, and Ross has to cut it into two pieces in order to return it to the store.

When Joey and Ross fall asleep together on the couch, they try their best not to let anyone know. But when they cuddle up a second time, they get busted by the rest of their friends. Joey tries to play it cool, and Ross looks awkwardly at the group before excusing himself.

After some pretty serious flirting, Joey and Rachel finally kiss in season 9 when Joey shows up at Rachel’s hotel room in Barbados. He knocks on her door, kisses her, and then the pair goes into her room and—*gasp*—closes the door behind them.
