Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel Attend ‘Court Ordered’ Couples Therapy In a Hilarious Skit

In an attempt to resolve their 14-year-long feud, Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel give couples therapy another shot.

It’s no secret that Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel’s relationship has been on the rocks. After years, in an attempt to resolve their long-standing issues, the sworn enemies attended another ‘court ordered’ therapy session during a hilarious segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday.

The skit starts by Kimmel entering a session with psychotherapist, Paul Kundinger, and Matt Damon already present. Kimmel takes his seat next to Damon and immediately constructs a wall of pillows between them, because naturally he felt “unsafe.”

When the therapist asks why the duo felt they needed to go through counseling, Kimmel explains that the session was ‘court ordered’ since Damon lives in his studio during the week. “It’s technically stalking,” Kimmel says.

“You invite me every day, you say I’m going to be on the show, and I’ve never been on the show,” Damon responds. “So I took matters into my own hands.”

Moving on from Damon’s living situation, they discuss the last time the Bourne actor was on Kimmel’s show. Seemingly unapologetic, Damon admits to bribing Ben Affleck to hiding him in his suit jacket when he came in for an after-Oscars interview on the show. “You bribed him?” Kimmel asks feeling betrayed.

“Of course,” Damon responds. “You think he would just do that?”

“Now I’m going to have to come in here with Ben too,” Kimmel responds sounding heartbroken. “I feel BATrayed by Batman.”

The two go back and forth, discussing their 14-year feud, trying to overcome all the violence and emotional damage they’ve caused each other on a number of occasions.

Finally, Dr. Kundlinger suggests that the duo experiment with art therapy and draw how they truly feel about each other. He soon realizes this was an awful idea after Damon and Kimmel reveal their highly inappropriate, yet hilarious drawings.

The two attended a previous counseling session in a September 2015 episode of the show. Check out that video below:
