Zoe Kravitz Slayed the Golden Globes Red Carpet in Polka Dots
by Caroline Harris
Each year the Golden Globes honors the best in film and American television. It’s a big deal in the entertainment world, but it’s equally as important a night in fashion. This year celebrities ruled the red carpet in edgy and sometimes polarizing designs. Twitter buzzed over Gwyneth Paltrow’s sheer brown prairie dress. Jennifer Lopez’ bow-embellished gown made both best and worst dressed lists. Amidst all the controversy, one celebrity received universal acclaim for her outfit: Zoe Kravitz.
The stunning starlet wore a Saint Laurent dress mixing mini and mega polka dots. The geometric style offered a compelling twist on the 2020 polka dot trend. Up top the dress featured a ruffled, off-shoulder style. The dress flowed into a fitted satin skirt that embodied simplicity and elegance. A tie-waist kept the bold patterns from becoming overwhelming.
Zoe Kravitz, who is known for her starring roles in productions like X-Men: First Class and Big Little Lies, kept her accessories simple so her dress could do the talking. She wore a chunky ring on her right hand and oversized studs. Bold brows, a red lip and a sleek pixie cut completed her look.
One of the best aspects of Kravitz’ look is how easy and accessible it is to create at home. Pair an off-shoulder polka dot blouse with a fitted polka dot skirt and there you have it. Look red carpet-ready with these fabulous finds!
