Cookin’ in South Carolina

What a way to live. We can have fresh fish and seafood of any kind any day of the week and there are three stores in a mile radius plus a few fish markets a little further down the way.

We never had grouper and now we eat it very often. We found red snapper two weeks ago for $5 a pound so we got a few of course. All white fish is good here and the lobster is usually fresh for $10 or so and crab legs go on sale at least twice a month here or there.

Needless to say we take advantage of the sales for we do love cooking and eating fish and fresh seafood of any kind. My husband is by far the best cook ever. He enjoys cooking and shows his love through his cooking all the time. I do not take it for granted, I do the cleaning up.

Living in South Carolina has changed our eating habits tremendously. It is so much fun to try new things anyway. Oh, and the Mexican food and the Thai food are as authentic as you can get unless you travel to their country. We are very happy here for many reasons, but, this is top on our list.

Hope you can come visit our area some day and find out for yourself. And, enjoy the beach for Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach especially, are the best around!
