8 Reasons We Want to Steal Chris Pratt From Anna Faris

We know Chris Pratt is in a loving and committed relationship with his wife, Anna Faris, but—um—can we marry him also?

While Chris Pratt hasn't been People's Sexiest Man Alive—yet—he's certainly high on our lists. The action star and comedy favorite has charmed his way into the hearts of America and the Divine Caroline staff Whether he's getting naked or French braiding hair, Chris Pratt has proven that he is husband material for lots of reasons, but here are the eight that come to mind. Do you think Anna Faris will share?

1. He's into getting naked.
You probably heard about Pratt surprising Amy Poehler by dropping trow on the set of Parks and Recreation, but we had no idea Pratt loves getting naked in general. He even had a brief stint as a stripper in Hawaii before making it big—albeit not a very successful one, he admits. "I was always a very much naked person," Pratt told Buzzfeed. "I loved to always get naked. I was very free, so I thought, I may as well get paid."

2. He knows what women want.
Some men think all women want partners with good looks and money, but Pratt knows the truth: "Girls like that quiet confidence. And not in a way like 'I'm a dick and I don't care.' Just: 'Hey, I'm comfortable with who I am.' You want to be with a girl who likes you for you," Chris told GQ. "Just be yourself and forget all of the stuff you read in GQ magazine."

3. This photo.
While we certainly mourned the loss of Parks and Rec's chubby Andy Dwyer, it didn't take us long to welcome the new and totally ripped Andy. After being cast in the 2014 smash hit Guardians of the Galaxy, Chris majorly bulked up to play the chiseled guardian Peter Quill or Star-Lord, as he would prefer to be called. Hey, if he keeps getting cast as buff characters like in Guardians and Jurassic World, we're certainly not complaining.

4. He can French braid hair.
@prattprattpratt's Instagram feed is full of traditionally masculine photos—cars, fish, insects, etc.—but we love one photo in particular: a French braid Pratt did for wife Anna Faris. And it's not too shabby! In fact, Pratt's braid is comparable to DC's own Hairdresser on Fire's. Don't believe he braided it himself? Pratt proved his plaiting prowess on an Entertainment Tonight intern in this interview. #RealMenBraid, indeed.

5. He's a good father.
If you've seen videos of Faris and Pratt's son Jack, you know he's just as charming as his goofy father, but the two are even cuter together. Check out this video of Pratt teaching Jack the Pledge of Allegiance on Memorial Day. BRB changing the name to Pledge of Awww-legiance.

6. He has a naughty sense of humor.
Anyone who is willing to get naked for a good scene on Parks and Rec is bound to have a wicked sense of humor, and Pratt most certainly does. His Instagram always has us giggling with pictures of phallicly arranged veggies, a confusingly lewd t-shirt, and an oddly-placed sink (or bidet).

7. He's a musical talent.
We all know that Pratt can play the guitar and sing—Andy Dwyer is the lead guitarist and singer of the band Mouse Rat in Parks and Rec—but he can also play piano and rap. The actor surprised everyone when he kept up with a verse of Eminem's Forgot About Dre in an interview with DJ Whoo Kid on his radio show Whoolywood Shuffle.

8. He collects dead bugs?
OK. So nobody is perfect... but some people are perfect for each other. While most women would pass on Pratt's collection of creepy crawlies, his wife, Anna Faris, loved it. In fact, Faris had her own dead bug collection before even meeting Pratt. I guess that's what true love looks like—two collections of bugs becoming one.

"Anna and I are meant to be together," Pratt wrote in an AMA session on Reddit. "Our relationship has made me believe in divine intervention and destiny, just as much as my crazy career and the way I fell into this life."

Alright, Anna, you win this time.
