Amy Schumer Slams Glamour for Featuring Her in an Exclusive Plus Size Issue

This is why you don't mess with Amy Schumer.

Amy Schumer was was anything but happy to find herself featured in Glamour’s new special edition issue that focused on plus-sized women (sizes 12-24). The stand up comedian has been a huge advocate for body positivity, but still wanted to make her frustrations well-known via a heated post on her Instagram.

Considering Schumer goes between a size 6 and 8, she was highly confused by Glamour's interpretation of what constitutes being plus-sized. She even went as far as asking her 3.8 million Instagram followers how they felt about young girls considering her body type and plus sized.

Within minutes of posting this to Instagram, people began reacting in support of the comedian, and criticizing the magazine's decision to create this exclusive issue all together. But Schumer wasn't done yet. She quickly took to Twitter to express how she felt that there really isn't a reason in put labels on women based on their body type.

As the criticism took over social media, Glamour editor-in-chief Cindi Leive decided to clear up the editorial decision to include Schumer in the issue in a Twitter rant of her own.
