Jennifer Lawrence might be the highest paid actress in the world according to Forbes Magazine, but she can totally relate to all the single ladies out there. While she may be at the top of her game when it comes to her career, The Hunger Games star says that she spends Saturday nights by herself because she's single... and she doesn't get asked out.
The 25-year-old beauty revealed this in a recent interview with Vogue Magazine.
"No one ever asks me out. I am lonely every Saturday night. Guys are so mean to me. I know where it's coming from, I know they're trying to establish dominance, but it hurts my feelings. I'm just a girl who wants you to be nice to me. I am straight as an arrow," Lawrence said.
Jennifer Lawrence went on to say that she feels like she needs to meet and marry a guy who has no clue who she is.
"It's strangely exhilarating because you keep trying to fight for that validation. You want to have [validation] before you get married, so that you don't seek it out once you are. I feel like I need to meet a guy, with all due respect, who has been living in Baghdad for five years who has no idea who I am," she said.
According to Us Weekly, JLaw dated Nicholas Hoult on and off for about five years before finally ending things for good in August 2014. She then dated Chris Martin (Coldplay), but their relationship was short-lived.
It's not that Jennifer Lawrence doesn't want to find a guy -- it's just that she hasn't found "the one" just yet. She says, however, that when she does, she will take it seriously.
"I can't wait to be married. I feel like if I find that one person who I want to spend the rest of my life with, who I want to be the father of my children, that I would absolutely not f—k it up," Lawrence said.
According to E! News, last year brought some serious changes for the actress. Not only did she wrap The Hunger Games, but she also moved on from her relationship with Hoult, so things were very different for her.
"Being 24 was this whole year of, 'Who am I without these movies? Who am I without this man?'" Lawrence said. She then went on to say that she had no clue if she'd ever get married -- sort of echoing her words to Vogue, but also speaking from the perspective that many single women have. It seems obvious that JLaw goes back and forth when it comes to getting married.
"I don't know if I ever will get married and I'm OK with that. I don't feel that I need anything to complete me. I love meeting people, men, women, whatever, I love people coming into your life and bringing something. I don't really plan on getting married. [But] I definitely want to be a mother. I don't really imagine getting married anymore," she said.
So I guess those rumors about her and co-star Liam Hemsworth aren't true?
