For many celebrities, taking the vow of marriage in a church or in a Vegas drive-thru or on a beach doesn't last very long ... sometimes even less than a year. But the longest celebrity marriages have stood the test of time despite the stress of fame, paparazzi, and tabloid rumors. While "richer or poorer" may not be the biggest challenge for these wealthy celebs, they have proven that it's possible to go the distance.

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, 18 years

Sex and the City's leading lady married Broderick while wearing a gorgeous black wedding dress in a New York City ceremony in 1997. Three adorable children later, the couple still resides in the City. In the past Parker has said the secret to their celebrity marriage is not discussing any of the media's good or the dirty laundry. For the non-celeb couples, Broderick told Meredith Vieira, "We really are friends beyond everything, and we talk a lot. Keep talking, I guess. I know how cliché that is. Too much silence is definitely not a good idea."
