It would seem like making Dwayne Johnson mad is something that most people would actively avoid. But for someone on the set of Fast 8, it's just another day in the life. Johnson has been involved in the Fast and Furious franchise since the series' fifth installment, and his character is expected to get even more attention in Fast 8, with the series continuing on without star Paul Walker. But judging from The Rock's Instagram page, not everyone is taking the responsibility as seriously as Johnson.
"This is my final week of shooting #FastAndFurious8," the actor and 17 time WWE Champion in one post. "There's no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one (...) My female co-stars are always amazing and I love 'em. My male co-stars however are a different story."
Johnson doesn't go on to name the co-star (or stars) directly, but says that some of his more violent scenes in the film will be showing his true emotions, and finishes with the hashtag #ZeroToleranceForCandyAsses.
This is my final week of shooting #FastAndFurious8. There's no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one. An incredible hard working crew. UNIVERSAL has been great partners as well. My female co-stars are always amazing and I love 'em. My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don't. The ones that don't are too chicken shit to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I'm not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling - you're right. Bottom line is it'll play great for the movie and fits this Hobbs character that's embedded in my DNA extremely well. The producer in me is happy about this part😉. Final week on FAST 8 and I'll finish strong. #IcemanCometh #F8 #ZeroToleranceForCandyAsses
So while we will all be keeping an eye out for Johnson's scenes in Fast 8 for hints as to which cast member has his blood boiling, it will be intesting to see in the meantime if any cast member steps up and decides that calling Dwayne Johnson out for his shade is a smart thing to do.
