It's Back To Hogwarts Day, and We Couldn't Be More Jealous

Today is the much-anticipated day that wizards and witches around the world head over to Platform 9 3/4 to begin another school year.

Grab your wands, textbooks and Nimbus 2000s because wizarding-school is back in session!

Each year, the first of September marks the day that Harry Potter fans around the world join together in wishing they were some of the witches and wizards headed back to Hogwarts.

Literary legend and author of the famous series, J.K. Rowling started off the morning by tweeting, "If you're at King's Cross, the Potter, Granger-Weasley and Malfoy families are there too. Albus Severus starts school today. #19YearsLater."

However, after realizing that she got ahead of herself and the now-famous child of our beloved Harry Potter wouldn't actually receive his acceptance letter until the following year, Rowling quickly deleted the tweet and followed up with a retraction.

While another school year starting at our favorite castle is an exciting celebration, we'd be lying if we said we weren't bloody jealous of everyone who got their acceptance letters this year. (#ForeverInDenial)
