Kanye West was hospitalized at UCLA Medical Center on Nov. 21 following the cancellation of 21 remaining tour dates on his Saint Pablo tour. However, after several days (including Thanksgiving!) of heavy medical supervision, West was finally released to go home, and we're truly hoping that means he's on the mend.
The hospitalization came after the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call around 1:20 p.m. on November 21 for an unspecified disturbance, but they found that no crime had been committed. The L.A. Fire Department took over once the situation was deemed as a medical emergency. The rapper's mother-in-law, Kris Jenner, spoke to Extra Magazine on Kanye West's condition: "He's exhausted. He's just really tired. He's had a grueling tour, and it's been a grind so he just needs some rest."
With two children, a huge tour and the stressful aftermath of his Kim Kardashian's robbery in Paris, we can definitely see where a little TLC might be in order.
However, the 39-year-old has been exuding bizarre behaviors as of recent.
On Thursday night at a concert in San Jose, West went on a political rant about the recent election, saying he didn't vote, but that he would have supported now President-elect Donald Trump.
Then on Saturday, West cut his concert in Sacramento short after just a few songs, but not before harshly calling out Beyoncé and Jay-Z. Fans in attendance were so distraught afterward that Ticketmaster gave refunds on tickets.
West's wife, Kim Kardashian-West, had landed in New York earlier on Monday for the Angel Ball that would honor the late Robert Kardashian Sr., but quickly flew back to L.A. once she heard of her husband's condition. The event would have been one of Kim's first public appearances since being robbed at gunpoint in Paris in early October.
