Kristen Bell Has A Message For Employers: Save Money And Hire More Women!

Pinksourcing marks the first installment of The Huffington Post's new spoof series Celebs Have Issues.

Kristen Bell knows how to keep it real. Recently, she opened up about her depression and anxiety in a refreshing new interview and now she is ready to address the gender wage gap. In collaboration with The Huffington Post, Bell stars in a short, satirical film called Pinksourcing — the first installment of a new comedy series called Celebs Have Issues.

In the corporate video spoof, Bell acts as a talking head, convincing other companies to "Pinksource," aka hire women, because they offer pretty cheap labor. "Why outsource all your production to faraway countries like India, China, and Narnia, when we have the cheapest and best workforce right here in the good ole U S of A: women."

As she walks through the halls, she exploits all the benefits that come with hiring female employees. Like how they only get paid 77 cents to the dollar — 60 cents if you're a black woman, 55 cents if you're Latina — or how women don't need to get paid overtime. She also reassures viewers that women never ask for a raise or complain about their working conditions.

Though Bell jokes, equal pay, women's rights, maternity leave and health care are all issues we are still struggling to resolve. Over the course of 10 weeks, The Huffington Post with release weekly short films addressing other major problems in the nation as well — such as transgender rights and mental health.

Watch Bell cram a lot of interesting info into the short video below.
