You might have seen the musical Cats, but we can almost promise that you have never seen any animal, YouTube video, or hell, a full-length, animated feature film quite like this.
You know that feeling that falls somewhere in between "can't-watch-anymore," and "can't-look-away?" That's exactly how we felt while watching this video — appropriately titled, "Cats" — by the 1973 Spanish disco dance troupe, Ballet Zoom. We'd never heard about Ballet Zoom before this, but from the looks of it, these dancers might still be found twirling with the sunrise on the Burning Man playa, because this is some seriously alternative stuff right here.
The first part of the cat video boasts a choreographed dance with our favorite furry YouTube sensations, followed by two, solid minutes of the dancers mimicking their purring counterparts. In case you were curious, they even managed to include a yarn ball.
Combine Internet-famous animals, humans, killer dance moves and 1970s psychedelic jumpsuits and graphics, and how could you possibly go wrong? It's weird, and it's a little uncomfortable at times, but we dare you try and not finish the full three minutes.
