The New 'Gilmore Girls' Featurette Is Giving Us All Of The Feels

Netflix has released two minutes and 40 seconds of perfection.

Who knew that pressing snooze on this Wednesday morning would mean pressing snooze on what could possibly be known as the BEST DAY OF ALL TIME? (Not dramatic).

That’s right, folks. While we hope you are currently enjoying a cup of coffee from your local Luke’s Diner, we have EVEN BETTER NEWS. (We’ll stop with the all caps soon, we promise). Our favorite mother-daughter duo is returning (old news), and Netflix has released a two minute and 40 second featurette that we plan to watch on a loop until the Gilmore Girls: A year in the Life special is released on Nov. 25th.

Seriously, though. We’re all for #TeamLogan [editor's note: ahem, #TeamJess], but holy cow, did you see Dean (whose real name is Jared Padelecki, but to us, will always be Rory’s first love)?! *insert heart eyes emoji*

“I will always hold a very special place in my heart for Gilmore Girls,” Sean Gunn, who plays Kirk, says in the featurette, and we honestly couldn’t agree more. (TBH, the show might actually have dibs on the majority of our entire heart, and everything else just has a small place).

While there aren’t many shows that could have us this excited for a revival, it's probably because our relationship with Stars Hallow and its residents can only rightfully be summed up with the scene from the final 30 seconds of the clip.
