This Artist's Natural Hair Is Literally A Work Of Art

21-year-old fashion designer Laetitia Kyย is embracing her natural hair in a way that goes far and beyond any updo we've ever seen.

The world of hair is leaning away from heating products and harsh chemicals and more toward embracing an individual's natural hair, and 21-year-old fashion designer, Laetitia Ky, is going even a step further and transforming it into some seriously insane creations.

Laetitia initially drew inspiration from a photo series that was celebrating the beauty of African tribal hairstyles.

"The were giant, and I wondered how you could do that with hair," she told Buzzfeed, but it apparently didn't take her long to figure it out!

Her 20.3K followers on Instagram get to gaze upon a new hair sculture that we're positive goes far and beyond any updo we've ever seen. She has created eyeglasses, face masks, the continent of Africa, a ballerina, and she hsa even made her hair mimic hands!

While her hair does most of the work, she uses different tools and props to make her visions into a reality, including pins, wool, fabric, and plants, and while these hairstyles may look like they could take her all day, she told Buzzfeed that it normally takes no more than two hours to create and get a perfect photo. (This insane hand series took the longest at a half-day!)

Seriously, we cannot get over this stuff!

At the end of the day, no matter what kind of feedback Laetitia receives, she told Teen Vogue that her message stays the same:

"I want to encourage people to be and express themselves, to expose their creativity and not be afraid to be themselves. I want to show that difference is beautiful."

We could hardly disagree with that!
