This Breathtaking Horse Will Give You Hair Envy For Days

Words just don't do him justice.

With his shiny coat and lustrous mane, Fredrick the Great might as well be a real life version of Black Beauty. Born in the Netherlands, the 15-year-old stallion is fittingly named after an 18th Century Prussian monarch. His current owner brought him across the pond when he was just 7-years-old, and he's been living at the Pinnacle Friesian farms in the Ozark mountains ever since.

It's no surprise that this sexy animal has taken the social media world by storm. With over 40,000 Facebook followers, Fredrick has plenty of fans obsessing over him. And it's easy to see why. The stunning, dark beast seems to have been pulled straight of a fairytale—making it hard to peel your eyes off of him. Take a look for yourself.

Fredrick is a Friesian horse—a breed that has nearly gone extinct multiple times. Thankfully, considering his huge fan base and high demand, his owners have decided to breed him. The stallion fathered his first offspring in August of last year. We are anxious to see if the young foal will live up to his father's legacy. Until then we will continue to obsess over Fredrick's long black mane blowing in the wind.
