This Epic Proposal Video is a Must-See

It took four months of planning, a few costume changes, and over 40 people to help pull it off.

DeAndre Upshaw is turning heads on social media after sharing an epic proposal video for his boyfriend of six years, Stu. Not only was the proposal super sweet and completely over-the-top (in the best sense of the phrase), but it's made extra special by the fact that it coincides with the one-year anniversy of the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to legalize same sex marriage.  "Never one to miss an opportunity to do the absolute most, I spent four months secretly colluding with family, friends and college roommates across the country to help make this an amazing, special day," said DeAndre.

The video starts with DeAndre telling Stu they'll be going to brunch, but takes a serious turn for the better when they actually arrive to their location. Stu is blindfolded and placed in the open hatchback of the car while DeAndre puts headphones on him. What follows is a glorious, moving, fully choreographed dance set to the tune of Tegan and Sara's "Closer", complete with a twerking marching band and four costume changes on DeAndre's end.

As if the choreography wasn't amazing enough, DeAndre enlisted the help of over 40 of their friends and family to dance for the proposal, which took place in Plano, Texas. Both men are Texas natives, and although DeAndre originally planned to pop the question in downtown Dallas, record amounts of rain in recent weeks called for a location change. The amount of work that went into this on DeAndre's end is amazing, and the support from so many of their loved ones only makes it better.

"My favorite part is his laugh... when he sees his friends and family pop out. Some of them he hasn't seen in years, and some drove in from Austin and Houston," said DeAndre.

The video ends, obviously, with Stu giving DeAndre a tearful and happy yes, while their friends and family cheer on in the background. You can read DeAndre's description of the day (and all the work that went into planning) in the YouTube description. We can't wait to see what kind of amazing choreography they plan for the wedding!

Feel free to tweet your congratulations to the adorable couple, @deandresays and @stuhausmann.
