OMG You Guys! Winnie The Pooh Is Disney's Next Live-Action Film

Disney is continuing the story of Christopher Robin and Winnie the Pooh in a new live-action film.

Our favorite childhood teddy bear, best known for his never-ending hunt for a jar of honey and a dedication to his friends that would rival the truest of BFFs, is bringing his endless amount of wisdom back to life... this time in a live-action version.

Disney recently announced that they would be continuing the story of the childhood classic Winnie the Pooh in a live-action fantasy project titled Christopher Robin that would center on the adult version of the human character.

Marc Foster, director of World War Z and Finding Neverland, will also be directing this newest endeavor from A.A. Milne's beloved series (sounds like a natural fit, right?). The film will focus on an adult Christopher Robin who is on the brink of losing his wife and child after prioritizing his work life for so long. Pooh, who needs Robin's help finding his friends again, returns to his life at what ends up being a perfect time. The two embark on a heartwarming adventure that reminds Robin of the sense of wonder he used to have with his old friends. No date has been announced yet, but you can bet that we will be first in line when it is.

Just hearing about the script has us feeling all the warm fuzzies in the kind of way that only Pooh and his friends can make us feel. We have a feeling that Pooh's wisdom is going to hit us with all of the feels even as adults, and we can't wait to see what the Hundred Acre Woods' gang is up to these days!
