Velvet has already been put back on the trending map, bringing a '90s grunge revival to 2016. Little did we think that the velour Juicy tracksuit, made famous by the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, and Paris Hilton, would be finding its way back into our style vocabulary. Yet, Juicy Couture has been working to bring a full-on sweatsuit revival, and it looks like this early 2000s trend may just be making its way into our closets for another go around with a collaboration as stylish as J. Lo herself.
Juicy and Urban Outfitters are teaming up for a capsule collection, with super-hot-right-now Tinashe set to be the face of this tracksuit revival. *heart eye emoji*
According to Teen Vogue, the 14-piece collection will feature playfully cool pieces, ranging from $39 to $119, making it the perfect price point for some velour experimentation. And we're seriously swooning over it.
Of course, Urban Outfitters and Tinashe aren't the first to resurrect the tracksuit trend that made our early 2000s the most comfortable we've ever been. Kylie Jenner has been rocking Juicy for quite awhile now, with the iconic bedazzling, comfy velour, and all.
And while you're at it, don't forget to mark your calendars: The Juicy collection is set for a February 13 release, and if you happen to live in the Los Angeles area, you can catch Tinashe's UO Live performance and get a sneak peek at the collection on February 11.
Now it's time to blast some J.Lo, throw on some Juicy, and let the reminiscing begin.
