From white bandanas on the runway to bold red carpet styles, it's obvious that fashion is getting political these days, and Katy Perry's new line of footwear is following suit (white pantsuit, that is).
Perry has always been an avid Hillary Clinton supporter, and it's obvious that her admiration for HRC hasn't waned after she rocked a white pantsuit and a "PERSIST" arm band at Sunday's Grammy Awards show and has now officially named a shoe after the 2016 presidential nominee.
While it might not be a style you'll see Hil wearing on the daily, the blush-pink pump with a gold star-filled lucite heel is meant to put a "pep in her step," Perry told People. The "Hillary" heel will be on sale for $139 when the line launches on Feb. 16.
The rest of Perry's 40-piece collection (yes, you read that correctly) is named after some of her favorite girlfriends and female family members and will retail between $59 and $299 on katyperrycollections.com.
Other celebrities who got kicks named after them include "Girls" stars Lena Dunham and Allison Williams.
The "Lena" is a $129 sparkly sneaker "because she is the coolest tomboy to me," Perry told People.
The A.W. (Allison Williams) on the other hand is a $119 patent pump with a gradient-filled heel, putting a spin on the classic pump.
These are only a few samples from the fabulous and versatile collection, and we can't wait to see what (and who!) else KP has in store!
