As the Color of the Year, Emerald has dug in deep and intends to stay through fall and winter. The gemstone-inspired color gives an elegant and luxurious feel to any ensemble you choose to wear. This multi-faceted color can take your look from day to night, casual to chic, and flirty to sensuous. Wear this fall fashion color in a gorgeous fall dress or incorporate emerald into your wardrobe with a leather handbag or statement jewelry.
This in-between yellow-green color keeps your style light and bright among some of the deeper shades. Linden Green would be a great accent color in a clutch or fashion scarf, but can work as the primary outfit color backed by the deeper hues—this fall color works well with some of the darker hues in the top 10 fashion colors. Try pairing it with Carafe or Turbulence or even Deep Lichen Green for a bold monochromatic look.
This fall fashion color sticks to tradition as a classic blue hue, but Mykonos Blue takes a cue from the deep waters surrounding the Greek island with rich teal undertones. This fall color pairs perfectly with a few of the staple hues in the fall fashion color palette as well as with the lighter color Linden Green. Mykonos Blue can be incorporated into your closet as a single piece like a fall dress or multiple pieces like a blouse or trouser pant.
This fall fashion color takes the color purple to another level as the perfect blend of plum and maroon. Acai adds a bit of mystery to any outfit. It’s described as a spiritual color that can be used on its own or paired with other colors. This is a great color to use with Turbulence or splashes of Koi. Try this color with a fashionable fall leather jacket or a svelte fall dress.
This fall color is a spicy shade that adds a dramatic appeal to your wardrobe. Samba is an intense red that pairs well with understated neutrals. The best way to use this fall color in your wardrobe is by using it sparingly to really add that extra pop of color. Try a Samba red pump or blouse under a neutral blazer. For a more daring look, opt for a Samba leather pant or skirt.
One very vibrant fall color is Koi orange. It takes a cue from the fish that gave the color its name and dazzles and shimmers, according to Pantone. Try out this fall fashion color as an accent color in a cozy scarf, a statement necklace, or a leather handbag.
This fall fashion color with deep fuchsia undertones is said to add an unruly and wild side to any outfit. Being one of the most vibrant of the fall fashion colors, Vivacious is a great way to brighten up some of the deeper tones like Turbulence, Carafe and Mykonos Blue. Pop this color into your fall wardrobe with a fun nail color, statement jewelry, or go all out and don a Vivacious dress at your next holiday party.
Deep Lichen Green
One of the cornerstone colors for fall, Deep Lichen Green takes its cue from the mossy colors of the outdoors. This fabulous basic sets the stage for mixing and matching with other fall fashion colors. Deep Lichen Green is a calming color that will put you at in ease in situation you find yourself in. Try wearing this fall staple color with other soothing tones of blue, or opt for something more daring by pairing it with the warm orange of Koi or fuchsia of Vivacious.
Another of the staples for fall fashion colors, Turbulence is the go-to gray and makes a great foundation color. Use this deep gray color as an alternative to black this fall and winter. Turbulence pairs especially well with Acai, Vivacious, Lichen Green, and Mykonos Blue. So, if you’re looking for a dynamic color pairing, choose Vivacious and Lichen Green to balance the dark gray. If you want a more soothing and sophisticated look, opt for Mykonos Blue or Acai. The pairing possibilities are endless.
The color brown generally doesn’t turn heads, but this fall’s fashion color basic, Carafe, is anything but boring. Carafe’s deep brown tone pairs gracefully with the more vibrant fall colors like Lichen Green or Koi orange. The earthy tone also works well with Mykonos Blue and Deep Lichen Green for a very organic style.
