The Embellished Trend: Sparkle On!

One of my favorite ways to add a touch of sparkle to my outfits for an everyday look or for the holiday season is with embellishment. Whether it’s a little added embellishment or full-on sparkle, it’s a fun and festive way to dress up your look this time of year. If you don’t have any embellished items in your wardrobe, no worries! An easy way to wear this trend is by throwing on a statement necklace over a simple dress, sweater, or collared shirt. It’s instant embellishment and a subtle way to add a touch of glam to any ordinary look. Here are some of my favorite embellished outfits to work your way into this sparkly trend.

When working your way into the embellished trend, start small. Add a few sparkly accessories like Krystin from Suburban Faux-Pas. I’m loving her classic collar and gorgeous embellished belt. These are both great ways to add bit of oomph to what could have been a very a simple outfit.

Next up is the ever-so-gorgeous Karissa Marie from Karissa Marie Blog. This look adds a little more sparkle than the first, along with an edgy twist. I love how glam this normal grey sweatshirt looks with a little bling. This girl can do no wrong!

Last up is this full-on embellished look worn by Blair from Atlantic-Pacific. If you decide that embellishment is definitely a trend you love, try an all-over embellished ensemble in the form of a dress or matching skirt and jacket.

Have fun with this glamorous trend and remember, sparkle on, girl!
