Fall 2013 Handbags
Come fall, I always get most excited about handbags. Scarves, statement necklaces, and boots are great, but my favorite fall accessory has to be bags. This fall you can expect classics—soft leather, structured shapes, rich colors—with a twist. Bloggers are already showing off the chicest handbags for fall 2013. Take a look!
Alicia is carrying one of the current “It” bags, the 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli satchel, in Aubergine. If this bag isn’t the epitome of fall, I don’t know what is! The color of this bag is absolutely gorgeous—it’s slightly more purple than fall’s ever-present oxblood hue.
Helena’s jumbo quilted Chanel bag is on the brighter side of fall’s handbag trends. Instead of the tiny cross-body bags and massive totes of season’s past, this medium bag is fall’s ideal size. This classic bag in eye-catching cobalt blue can really work for any season, but it’s all about what you pair it with! This fall, I’d let the color pop against an all-black outfit.
It wouldn’t be fall without a little leopard-print action. Blair’s studded leopard handbag is up-to-the-minute trendy. Size-wise, it’s the same perfect medium as Helena’s Chanel. Print-wise, it’s a must-have for fall.
In more neutral territory, Jacey’s cognac leather Celine trapeze bag is the ultimate versatile fall handbag. This neutral bag can be paired with nearly any print or hue, which makes it the perfect fall handbag investment.
All of these fall handbags are on my lust list! Luckily, many stores have already started to come out with more affordable alternatives to these designer bags.
