Seeing as how I’m a huge fan of denim, I’ve loved seeing the denim jacket make a comeback in the last couple of years. Whether it’s on the streets, runway, or seen on celebrities, the denim jacket can be seen everywhere! Although I’d like to argue the trend never really went away (I’ve had my original denim jacket since high school), I’m so glad to see it back in a variety of different shapes, lengths, and washes.

The denim jacket is one of the most versatile must-have pieces for spring and summer. It’s perfect for layering and lightweight enough to throw over a dress or tee for those cool summer nights. The fact that it’s denim allows you to mix and match it with so many different looks. Dress up a dark wash jacket with silk shorts and heeled sandals for date night, or pair a light wash jacket with a maxi dress and panama hat for brunch with the girls.
