Sneaker-Chic Looks for Fall

Sneaker-Chic Looks for Fall

One of my favorite trends right now may be the comfiest trend ever! I am talking about sneaker-chic shoes. Seriously, how amazing? Super stylish and easy on your feet? That is almost unheard of in the fashion world—it really can’t get much better.

Whether they're worn with a dress or cutoff shorts and a tee for summer or leather pants, jackets, and jeans for fall, sneakers work with anything—literally! With fall quickly approaching, try pairing your sneaks with some skinny jeans, a chunky cardigan, and scarf for a casual look. My go-to sneakers are the Chuck Tee Converse. They will always be a classic in my book. Some other trending tennies include running shoes in bright colors, wedge sneakers, embellished high tops, and patterned sneakers.

Don't be afraid to style this trend in your own unique way like the fashion bloggers above! From left to right, Alexandra pairs hers with a red leather jacket while Alicia rocks her sneakers with her trademark cheetah-print coat. Next up, Helena pairs her Nike sneakers with a polished blazer while Shea keeps her look causal with a knit sweater dress and beanie. All of these looks are styled different but they all work so well—sneaker chic!

If you're nervous about jumping into this trend, try sneakers in soft muted colors like black, army green, navy, or maroon and keep it casual like I did. The easist way to style sneakers is with skinny jeans and a simple top. Once you're comfortable with that, try branching out and adding in a wedge or even a pattern to your tennis shoe collection. This trend is so chic and easy on the feet, hopefully it won’t be going away anytime soon.

Now that you've seen this trend and how to style sneakers for fall, fashionistas, flock to your favorite footwear store and get to shopping!
