Distressed Light-Washed Denim
Lightly distressed denim is a fall must have. Keyword: lightly. We're not talking about the denim with huge holes in the knees that we wore in middle school. A little distressing can go a long way. Aim for ones like the pair SJP has on. They're so versatile; you can roll them up with flats or tuck them into short boots for two very different looks. 

Green Ballet Flat

A chained purse is an easy way to bring a little hardware into your outfit. You can go for a piece with chain detailing or something where the chain serves a more solid function like the chain handle on Parker's bag. Either way, it brings a little glitz to everyday attire. We love how SJP chose a color-blocked purse in black and white, but a bag in a solid works just as well.
