A Guide to Getting Boho Right
Glamming up a traditional bohemian look is easier than you think. Here’s how three bloggers did it with style.
Sometimes boho style can look sloppy or disheveled, but it doesn't have to. We wanted to keep the comfort from our favorite laid-back looks, but turn up the style a notch for more sophistication. Here are some bloggers that show how to wear boho glam well.
First up is Aimee, the voice behind Song of Style (left). She does it right with her flowing maxi dress and floral moto jacket. She adds height with platform heels so she's not swimming in her maxi dress. The structured jacket keeps her looking put together. This look definitely shows that you don't need summer weather to sport boho glam style.
Next up is Emily of Emily Maynard (middle). She looks amazing wearing wide leg pants and a cropped top that screams boho chic. Each flowing piece adds an effortless, easy quality. The vibrant colors in this look also give it glam.
Finally, we love Sara from Collage Vintage (right). She wore a short mini skirt, a slouchy t-shirt and Converse sneakers. The detailed pattern on the skirt and slouchy-style t-shirt really shows off the boho style. The necklace, watch, and bag glam it up. This shows that you don't have to wear the trend head to toe; even a hint here and there will do it for you.
