Kimonos have been all the rage this season. Whether you’re heading to the beach in a swimsuit or heading out to do a little shopping with friends, kimonos are a chic accent to any look. Although we love kimonos for casual affairs, they are not typically thought of for more dressy events. Until now, that is. Kimonos are actually a perfect addition to your dressed up look. 

How do you dress them up? It’s simple. If your kimono is colorful, throw on a little black dress! A black dress is an easy way to let the kimono shine and make you look cute in the process. Add a fun edgy heel to complete the look. Feeling daring? Belt it! I’ve seen so many great accent belts lately. And when all else fails, add a statement necklace!
