4 Favorite Meghan Markle Looks You Can Copy For Less Than $260

The duchess is known to pull off some of the best royal looks. We couldn’t help but recreate our most recent faves with affordable brands well within our budgets.

Meghan Markle looks incredible every day of the year, but we have a hunch she’s going to pull out all the fashion stops to celebrate her first birthday as a duchess on August 4. Will she be rocking some designer styles from personal faves Oscar de la Renta or Givenchy—an ode to her stunning wedding dress—or will she celebrate in some of her more affordable favorite brands? We don’t know the answer yet, but we do know that we’re already primed and ready to steal that Meghan Markle style ASAP August 5.

For now, in honor of the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle’s 36th birthday, we want to look back at some of her most killer styles so we can recreate them ourselves. And look, we don’t have the royal budget that comes with marrying Prince Harry (though sometimes we think we do when we’re at the mall), so we pulled together copy-cat looks that all come in under $260—the outfit, the accessories, the shoes, the whole shebang. You may not be a princess, but you’ll definitely feel like one in these outfits.

1. Meghan Markle Style: Posh Pinstripes

Who knew pinstripes could look so chic? If anyone is going to pull off this stuffy office print, it’s Meghan Markle, stepping out in a button-front Altuzzara dress with a fitted blazer, striped crossbody bag, and modern Mary Jane pumps. Copy this posh pattern play with a similar button-front midi dress paired with black and white accessories to finish off the look. For a grand total of $186, you can rock your next boardroom meeting or colleague cocktail hour, no problem.

2. Meghan Markle Style: A Royal Statement

We all know the newly-married duchess loves her neutrals, but this emerald look is anything but blasé, and we are here for it. Her Self-Portrait frock is on-trend (per usual) with its bright green hue and artsy floral print. She keeps it pretty simple on the accessories front with an all-black entourage of her go-to blazer, pointed-toe pumps, and an oragami clutch. Put your own spin on this colorful Meghan Markle look with a garden party dress and similar envelope-style clutch, switching out the blazer for a leather jacket to create an outfit that is ready to take on day or night.

3. Meghan Markle Style: Courtside Chic

It’s no secret that Meghan Markle can really put basics to work. I mean, she’s carried an Everlane tote on more than one occassion, rocks MOTHER denim on the reg, not to mention the slew of other affordable brands she keeps in rotation in her royal closet. But she outdoes herself supporting friend Serena Williams at the 2018 Wimbledon match wearing a classic combo: wide-leg trousers and a blue-and-white striped button-down. Grab yourself some white hot palazzo pants and tuck in a simple striped top to steal her summery style. And don’t forget her iconic fedora and black sunnies for much-needed sun protection.

4. Meghan Markle Style: In the Trenches

Putting her American spin on this royal staple, Meghan Markle opted for a sleeveless version of a classic trenchcoat for her visit to the Nelson Mandela Centenary Exhibition in London. Staying true to her minimalist form, she styled this statement piece with matching stilettos and a blush calfskin clutch, adding just enough sparkle with understated studs. Thanks to Brooks Brothers, you can steal her tailored style for under $200 with this belted trench dress. Polish it off with nude pumps (these come in every nude out there!) and a neutral-colored purse to give this wardrobe essential the royal touch.
