Η νευρολόγος Κατερίνα και ο πρώην γιατρός Γιάννης κατευθύνονται σε ένα έρημο παραθαλάσσιο θέρετρο. Η σιωπή πέφτει στο αυτοκίνητο, καθώς ταξιδεύουν σε αμμόλοφους ένα θυελλώδες φθινόπωρο, που ταιριάζει με την δυσάρεστη περίσταση: ο Γιάννης κλήθηκε να αναγνωρίσει το θύμα ενός τραγικού ατυχήματος στο νοσοκομείο της μικρής πόλης. Όταν ο τοπικός αστυνομικός τους ενημερώνει ότι το όχημα του θύματος έπεσε από μιας πέτρινη γέφυρα και τους οδηγεί στο νεκροτομείο, η Κατερίνα βλέπει τις χειρότερες υποψίες της να επιβεβαιώνονται. Μαζί με τον Γιάννη, αλλά και μόνη της στις δικές της νυχτερινές εξορμήσεις σε ένα μυστηριώδες, ρουστίκ beach bar που ονομάζεται Arcadia, αρχίζουν να ενώνουν τα κομμάτια του παζλ, αποκαλύπτοντας μια στοιχειωμένη ιστορία αγάπης, απώλειας, αποδοχής και εγκατάλειψης.
