It all started on May 31, 2008 at 6:30 a.m. when I felt fluid that I thought was urine leak out of my vagina. I didn’t make a big deal out of it because I have been in the emergency room a couple of times for nothing.

So around 7:00 p.m. that evening my boyfriend and I went to get some Chinese food. When we got back home we started to eat our food. That is when I felt a contraction in my lower abdomen. So I called labor and delivery. They told me to come in to see what is going on. When they examined me I was four centimeters dilated and my son’s foot was in my vagina. They told me I was going to have an emergency C-section and I had to go under general anesthesia.

At 8:18 p.m. my son Jeffery was born weighing in at 2 pounds 4.5 ounces. At 8:21 p.m. my daughter Jaliyah was born weighing in at 2 pounds 1.5 ounces. They both were born at twenty-seven weeks gestation with no serious complications. Now they are in the NICU recovering and will be coming home soon.
