The Bra Toss Challenge Is Giving Extra Support To Women Everywhere

The latest internet challenge is using bras to raise awareness for women's rights. Similar to the Ice Bucket Challenge, it'sย using the power of the internet in its favor.

We're all about supporting women, so when we learned about the latest internet craze, the Bra Toss Challenge, we immediately loved it.

Remember the Ice Bucket Challenge that went viral a few years ago? Picture that. Except of tossing buckets of ice water on your head, you're tossing your bra. And instead of raising money for ALS, you're raising awareness for women's rights.

The Bra Toss Challenge was introduced by YouTuber, author, and activist Lilly Singh on March 8โ€”AKA International Women's Day.

"This is my bra," Lilly says in her initial video, "and I'm throwing it in support of every type of woman around the world. And I'm challenging every viewer of this video who believes in the power of sisterhood to take the bra toss challenge, because we're in this together!"

Loads of social media users are continuing to show their support for the challenge. Several celebs have even jumped on board, including Charlize Theron, Chelsea Handler, Nelly Furtado, and social media celeb Colleen Ballinger.

And if you're really feeling fired up after tossing your garments, don't forget that these women's organizations can always use your support. Women's rights are human rights and we won't stop until the whole world agrees.
