University of Texas student Sabryna Salazar has been following the Olympics coverage like the most of us. While watching the 100 meter butterfly final, she was just as surprised as anybody when Olympic hottie Joseph Schooling beat Michael Phelps––the most decorated Olympian of all time––and won gold.
After hearing the announcers say his name over and over again, the 22-year-old felt like it sounded familiar. She quickly scrolled through her Tinder messages and made the connection.

Her tweet has since gone viral, garnering over 38,000 retweets. And of course, she really regrets not replying to the recently crowned Olympic gold medalist. We are also unsure how she missed his adorable dimples.
and not replying to his message was my greatest failure— sab (@sabwow) August 13, 2016
"I didn't know who he was when I matched him," she told Buzzfeed in an interview. "I figured he was a swimmer here at UT though based on his profile."
Since taking to Twitter and sharing her disappointment, Schooling has unmatched with Salazar on Tinder. That said, she still has her hopes up for something good to come out of her epic fail.
