Ever since the 2016 presidential election, it seems as though everyone and everything has become political, and that includes in the fashion and beauty world. There were the white bandanas on the runway and then Lush Cosmetics' death penalty-abollshing bath bomb, and now, thanks to a new lipstick, you can officially combine your politics and your pout.
(#Regram @hrae_hrae) Want to DONATE TO PLANNED PARENTHOOD? We are THE LIPSTICK LOBBY. We are part of a larger movement for change, progress and equality. And we’re offering you a simple way to protest and to make a difference: a bold statement lipstick. 100% of net profits from lipstick sales will be donated to Planned Parenthood! PP provides almost 5 million people worldwide with sexual and reproductive health care and information annually. Wearing this lipstick is a reminder that small actions can create big waves. It's a simple way to speak up and speak out against the threats to women’s freedoms and health care posed by the Trump administration. It's a very small thing we can do, but we can all help right here, right now to create change. Please share with friends and family, influencers, artists, politicos, women, men, anyone who might care about our cause, and will want to help us speak out against the current injustices. https://thelipsticklobby.com/
We all know the change in confidence that a bold new lipstick color can bring, and a social justice movement titled "The Lipstick Lobby" is relying on one of our favorite cosmetics to bring about an even bigger change by supporting Planned Parenthood and women's reproductive rights.
The organization has teamed up with retail and global fashion brand Opening Ceremony to launch "Kiss My Pink," a bold, matte pink shade that was specifically designed to be universally flattering on a wide range of skin tones. The formula also contains Vitamins C and E and is vegan, cruelty-free and paraben -free. And the very best part of this already awesome product? One hundred percent of the profits from the $19 tube of lipstick will be donated directly to Planned Parenthood.
So, wait. We're talking looking and feeling good while changing the world? You can definitely count us in.
