Working Out Now Gives Ladies Better Abs, Multiple Orgasms
by Allison Ford
Researchers suggest that exercise can induce orgasms, giving you one more reason to get off your butt and into the gym.
What, your daily treadmill slog isn’t sending you into fits of ecstasy? UR DOIN IT WRONG.
New research from Indiana University has suggested that exercise-induced orgasms are “more common than previously thought.” As in, “We previously thought they did not happen, but it turns out that they do.”
So if you’re a woman who experiences toe-curling orgasms at the mere sight of a dumbbell or a foam roller, know that you’re not alone. There are a lot of you, and you are very lucky ladies.
The study, detailed in the journal Sexual and Relationship Therapy, found that the elusive “coregasm” is actually a thing. Researchers found that 40 percent of the women who had experienced exercise-induced orgasms had done so more than 10 times, suggesting that it’s best to tune out your gym’s ever-present chorus of grunting and just not think too much about it. (Especially if exercise-induced orgasms are not strictly a female thing, eew.)
More surprising than the assertion that many women are self-delighting every time they hop onto a spin bike is the finding that the exercise most likely to induce orgasmic pleasure is abdominal work. The lowly crunch bringing on paroxysms of pleasure? You don’t say.
But the most surprising thing the researchers found? The fact that many of these women could actually control their exercise orgasms, and knew just what moves or machines would bring them on.
As a dedicated gym rat who has never heard of exercise-induced orgasms, I have only one question…won’t someone with firsthand knowledge of this phenomenon please email me immediately?
