#TacoTuesdays just took on an even sweeter meaning with the addition of an oh-so-popular and oh-so-pretty sweet treat.
California-based ice cream shop, Sweet Cup revamped the trendy rolled ice cream that has graced our Instagram feeds over the past two summers, and is now serving the frozen dessert in waffle cone tacos. Spoiler alert: It. Is. EPIC.
The treat is like the Choco Tacos of our youth, but far, far more Instagram-worthy.
While we've seen the rolled ice cream trend for a while now, we've never seen it like this. To get it, an ice cream base is placed on a cold plate that is then rolled with two spatulas. Sweet cup then puts it in their own waffle cone taco shells (waco shells?) and adds toppings galore to create a treat that we're salivating over just looking at.
But we'll have to stare dreamily until next week because get this: the dessert (or main course, we aren't judging) is only available on Tuesdays for the appropriate Taco Tuesday celebration. We're still not sure if that is the best part or the worst part about them, TBH. On the brightside, though, that gives you plenty of time to decide which flavor you're going to get. The choices vary from s'mores, strawberry shortcake, rainbow road, Monsters Inc. (it has chocolate chip cookies and oreos.), and even a charcoal black coconut taco that is topped with edible gold.
If you're taking a vacay west anytime soon, you're going to want to put these new rolled ice cream tacos on your must-eat list. And bring back a few for us too, please.
