How to Juggle Cleaning a Home with Kids

Involve children with the New Years resolution

I would like to say Happy New Year to you!

Many people start their year off with New Year resolutions as an individual.

Well, I have a question for you—it doesn’t require much thinking either.

Have you ever tired to involve your children with a New Year Resolution?

Most families in this day and age have two people working over forty hours outside the household.

Which is followed up with the average of two children, a dog, or cat.

While making a New Year Resolution, why not involve the children?

I am sure this will help them plan for future events as well.

Here are a couple of suggestions to help you juggle those daily chores:

1.Set up a small incentive plan for the child/children (e.g. favorite video game, a trip to their favorite store, allowance works most of the time).

2. Place small chores to be done at a certain time of the day throughout the week if schedule permits.

3. Set up a checklist that is color coded daily.

Lastly, if this can be arranged where it can be done somewhat fun for the children, most likely things will be more organized.

This will be less stressful for the parent or parents on a daily basis.

Try this routine for thirty days and share with me how it worked for you.
