COMMUNITY INSTRUCTIONS

Viva.gr is a platform used by many different users to come closer through their participation in a wide range of events and activities. Through our platform, Organizers and Producers have the ability to publish and advertise events and services, without the mediation or direct control of the Viva team.
The reliability of our platform is something that we take very seriously and aim at its proper operation in a respectful, safe and legal way for everyone. This is the reason why we developed these Community Guidelines, in order to clearly describe the types of events, activities and content that we encourage and prohibit on Viva.gr, respectively

Note: The list is not exhaustive and new instructions can be added to it. Therefore, it is important to check frequently for any changes or updates. Please strictly respect these Instructions. If you come across content that violates these Guidelines, please contact us immediately by email at report@viva.gr describing the event or content that you believe does not comply with the Community Guidelines. 


WHAT IS ALLOWED

1.Creation of events of any kind

The Viva.gr platform can support any type of your events - from theatrical performances, cinema, dance, sporting events, and anything else you organize. We strongly encourage the use of content that promotes different cultures, views and ideas. Express yourself and inspire our community with your own special event

2. Publish secure content

You are welcome to post your events, provided they do not contain inappropriate content, do not promote hatred or violence and do not otherwise violate these Community Guidelines. The content you submit may include photos, videos, logos and texts.

3. Publication of safe events

You must take care that the appropriate measures are implemented to provide a safe experience to all participants in your event, in terms of health measures, measures to protect physical integrity, measures to respect the diversity of individuals, etc.


WHAT IS NOT ALLOWED

You may not use Viva.gr to post content or engage in any conduct that is (in our sole discretion) offensive, harmful or inappropriate to the general public or that we believe constitutes or is likely to encourage or promote any harmful, violent or illegal activity or effect. Below, you will find more information about the types of activities, events and content that are not allowed through the services of Viva.gr.

1.Promotion of illegal inappropriate activities

Viva.gr can not be used to facilitate harmful or criminal activities of any kind. You are not allowed to create or promote events through Viva.gr that constitute or promote any of the following:

  • Sexual activity (including escort services) or pornography
  • Illegal gambling activity
  • Sale or ingestion of illicit drugs, other illicit substances or nutrients
  • Activities that promote primarily any other commercial product or service, such as an "informational advertisement", unless such promotion is explicitly indicated to users in a legally adequate manner, such as through a prominent "Advertising" caption
  • Unauthorized multi-level marketing companies
  • Lotteries, raffles or prizes that are not part of a live event reported on Viva or otherwise prohibited by law;
  • Listings that promote the sale or distribution of goods or services not directly related to a live event reported on Viva
  • Activities that humiliate, harass, intimidate, threaten or express hatred towards any social group, race, nationality, religion, ethnic origin, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age.
  • Sale, distribution (including lotteries, auctions, gifts), illicit use or trafficking (i) of firearms, firearms or ammunition equipment and ammunition; or (ii) weapons and other devices designed to inflict bodily harm
  • Terrorist activity or organized crime

2. Posting dangerous or violent content, or events by dangerous organizations or organizations that promote violence or hatred

We do not allow content or organizations on our platform that promote or encourage hatred, violence or harassment of others. In particular, we prohibit content or organizations that promote hatred or harassment of individuals or groups based on race or nationality, origin, religion, disability, gender, age, sexual orientation or gender identity. This prohibition extends to the public promotion of this type of prohibited behavior, whether or not it concerns the event or its content presented on our platform.

3. Posting harmful or illegal content

We expect all Organizers to respect the individuals, organizations and teams that are part of our Community. You may not distribute or promote any written or other content through our services that: 

  • Impersonate any person or entity, including without limitation any government official or public figure
  • Falsely or otherwise falsify your relationship with any person or entity
  • Promote or encourage violent, hateful, or dangerous content (as described above)
  • Slander or defame any other person
  • Invade the privacy of any person or contain the identity of a person without their permission
  • Harass, threaten or intimidate anyone
  • Promote potentially harmful misinformation or deliberately misleading misinformation
  • Are fraudulent, misleading or cause liability
  • Are protected by copyright, trademark or trade secret laws, unless you have the express written consent of the copyright holder

4. Resale of tickets, participation in prohibited sales or advertisements

Viva.gr is a platform for authorized Organizers, with a scope to promote and sell tickets for their events. The platform may not be used to resell tickets, manage lotteries, gambling of any kind or to facilitate the sale of anything other than a ticket for your own event (excluding merchandise or accommodation added as an option in combination or related to an event ticket). You can not use the Services of Viva.gr for:

  • Collection, extraction of any information from the Services of Viva.gr for any commercial purpose, such as the resale of information (either personal or other information), or the creation of a new data set or service
  • Publish or transmit any spam, promotional material, junk mail, chain mail, pyramid schemes, research, investment opportunity, or any other form of commercial incitement (excluding the event sponsorships).

5. Interference with Viva Services

To maintain the security and integrity of Viva.gr services, you can not do any of the following:
  • Interference or interruption of the operation of the services of Viva.gr or of the servers or networks used for the provision of the Services
  • Posting or publishing a virus, trojan, spyware, rootkit, cancelbot, or other code, file, or program that is harmful or intended to harm or disrupt the operation or to monitor the use of any hardware, software, or equipment
  • Access or programming of any technology to access the Services through any robot, detection or scraping technology or other export technology (for any purpose)
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other accounts, computer systems or networks connected to the Services by password extraction or any other means

6. Violation of the Intellectual Property Rights of Third Parties

You may not upload or distribute content on Viva.gr without expressly disclosing it under applicable law or under contractual or confidential information (such as confidential information or property and confidential information obtained or disclosed as part of an employment relationship or under non-disclosure agreements). This includes, but is not limited to, all images, logos, videos, and texts uploaded to your event listing. In addition, it is forbidden to do the following through Viva.gr:

  • Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
  • Reproduction, copying, sale, resale or other exploitation of any part or portion of the Services, for any commercial purpose.

7. Violation of personal data

We urge you to be careful about the type of information you request. You can not use Viva.gr to collect credit card details, social security numbers, financial information or other sensitive information that is not absolutely necessary for the management of your events, and that are not available for collection through alternative methods.


8. Publish inappropriate content

Viva.gr does not allow the publication or promotion of pornographic, inappropriate, violent or sensitive content. This applies to all content on our site, including images, videos and descriptions. We understand that nude content is not always considered pornographic and that specific sensitive content may be necessary to highlight the nature of an event on our Services. We will remove content that exposes certain parts of the body or is intended to promote violence, or mainly to shock the viewer. In addition, we may choose to remove or make certain content private, in order to ensure a generally accepted level of security and suitability for the majority of the Community.


WAYS OF LABELING AND REGISTRATION FOR CONTROL

Our goal is to promote a community with security and respect. If you notice any entry or content that may violate the Community Guidelines or the Terms of Use of Viva.gr, contact us immediately via email at report@viva.gr describing the event or content that you believe does not comply the Community Guidelines. We will review each report and depending on its nature, we may contact you. It is also important to remember that Viva.gr encourages a diverse, global community, so any content that you find offensive or controversial may not generally violate the Community Guidelines and ultimately not be removed. We really appreciate the opportunity we are given to listen to your comments.

VIOLATIONS OF COMMUNITY INSTRUCTIONS

If we find that the content violates the Community Guidelines, we may remove only the relevant content, remove the entire publication of the event or take alternative actions that VIva.gr deems appropriate, given the conditions surrounding the content. If the misuse of our Services is serious and significant (in our sole discretion), we may also suspend or terminate the relevant user or Organizer account..

Keep in mind that there may be specific content, although it may not violate a specific article of the Community Guidelines, that may still be inappropriate for our Community. In these cases, we may decide to make the content private or otherwise reduce its appearance on our site.

If we believe that there is a legitimate risk of bodily harm to an individual or group of individuals or immediate threats to public safety, not only will we take action on our site, but we will also work with the appropriate authorities, as appropriate and at our discretion. Indicatively and not restrictively, this includes the issuance of reports of child sexual abuse material to authorities. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger as a result of content published on Viva.gr, first contact the competent authorities. After you report the issue to the competent authorities, you also report the issue to us by e-mail at report@viva.gr..
