You've seen bathleisure (a combination of "bath" and "athleisure") all over Instagram, beginning with the South Korean singer CL wearing a bathrobe gown to the CFDA awards earlier in November (gasp). Soon after, Rita Ora walked the MTV Europe Music Awards red carpet in nothing more than a terry cloth robe, hair towel, and a few lavish accessories, making it A-okay for you to strut around in your favorite housecoat. But it wasn't until Rihanna showed up on the cover of Vogue Paris, dressed to the nines with an Emilio Pucci towel on her head (yes, a towel!), that we began to rethink our bathleisure reservations. If Rihanna is doing it, obviously it's fashion, right? We already sit around our apartments in a robe and towel post-shower, and now it's in style. Just slap on a few standout accessories and make sure to snap a pic for all your followers.
We're calling it: Lavender is the It color of 2018. Sorry millennial pink, but with pale purple appearances on Spring '18 runways from Tom Ford, Tibi, and Victoria Beckham (to name a few), it's hard to ignore the pastel-adjacent takeover. Lavender even has the Rihanna seal of approval, along with Black Panther lead Lupita Nyong'o and Grown-ish rising star Yara Shahidi rocking lilac gowns on the red carpet in full support of the lilac hue. What's not to love about a universally flattering shade that looks good with just about anything, with your favorite denim or a bold orange lip. If you're not ready to take on loud ultra-violet, then these lavender pieces are your in to one of 2018's top statement trends. Shop our fave lilac finds from athleisure essentials and spring maxi dresses all the way to standout shoes and boxy suit jackets.

We've all suffered from weak, brittle nails. The problem is that we often try to “solve” the issue by simply hiding them with another coat of nail polish and pretending the problem doesn't exist. Danielle Candido, Gelish's Northeast Regional Manager of Education, gave us her tips and tricks for how to get stronger nails. For starters, stop ignoring them.
This is one spring trend you won't be able to resist: orange lips! I know the color can be intimidating, but there's an appropriate citrus shade for every skin tone. Yellow and olive skin tones will want to seek out the warmest, most vivid shades. If your skin tone is more pink, try colors that are more peachy, coral, or red. These girls wear it right.
