NYFW Welcomes Back The Claw Hair Clip, A Fave '80s Accessory

First they brought back scrunchies, now iconic '80s claw hair clips are totally en vogue again—thanks to Alexander Wang's Fall 2018 New York Fashion Week show. New "It" model Kaia Gerber (a.k.a. Cindy Crawford's lookalike daughter) rocked a throwback banana clip with "Alexander Wang" stamped on it, specially made by Wang's team of designers for the event. "It's a cool way to put your hair up and not feel too lady," stylist Guido Palau said to Vogue. We thick-haired ladies are all for it! Alexander Wang's claw hair clip will be on sale in the fall, but for now you can twist up your hair in these 10 accessories that are already in stores.

Evita Hair Clip

This sweet banana hair clip would be perfect with a white sundress to keep your hair out of the wind on a warm day. Anthropologie as a whole is killing it in the hair clip game, and this blue Evita one is just the tip of the iceberg. Where Alexander Wang's style was sharp and edgy, Anthro is taking its soft, boho vibe to hair accessories like these. Calling all festival-goers, amiright? ($10; anthropologie.com)

Kitsch Open Claw Clip Set

We're loving the modern shape of these metal claw hair clips. The side cut-outs give an interesting look to your hairstyle, more like a pin than a traditional banana clip. Wang's runway showed models rocking more than one hair clip lined up in their 'do, and we think mixing the gold and silver here would be so chic with a plain black dress or even jeans and a tee.
