Viva.gr ready for the next day

Viva.gr, the leading ticketing provider of major cultural and athletic events on behalf of the event organizers, with respect to its employees, event producers and audience, keeps its workforce intact to support: all services required between the event producers and the consumers during the lockdown, the Greek market during the recommencement of all event productions, as well as its scheduled activity in new European markets.

During the past 10 years, Viva.gr is strongly connected to the Greek event ticketing market, having fully-supported the production of 35.000 events, providing more than 46.000.000 tickets to the audience. The restrictive measures have led to the cancellation of all events, however Viva.gr has kept most of its workforce, utilizing it to support the activities of Viva Wallet, who is part of the Viva Wallet Holdings Group.

All cultural and athletic activities have been severely affected by the health measures and the prohibition of any event activity. Unfortunately, all event producers are facing the risk of losing a whole year of event planning and investing. We all must stand by them.

Viva.gr is prepared, having developed all the necessary mechanisms to technically support all event producers to implement the rules given by the government, related to all show tickets that have been cancelled, producing on their behalf credit vouchers. At the same time, Viva.gr is asking the people to embrace the restart of all events occurring in open spaces from July 15th. This way, we all participate in a respectful and gradual return to the new reality.

Meanwhile, while preparing for the next day, Viva.gr is working its way up with mere force, planning its grow into new European markets. A new, more agile event ticketing platform is steadily being implemented in Greece, and by the end of the summer, it will be the foundation of Viva.gr’s expansion to some European event markets. The new platform has been developed this past year but embeds the experience and knowledge of the last 10 years of Viva.gr’s cutting-edge technology.

In this same framework of strategic development, which focuses on the development of event ticketing, Viva.gr will stop the sales of airplane tickets and is asking its users to support Aegean Airlines’ ticketing platform, supporting the national sustainability of air-transportation.

Keeping into consideration the island landscape of Greece, the company will keep providing ferry tickets to the people in a more easy, fast and economic way, supporting the touristic activity of the country.

Viva.gr, a subsidiary of Viva Wallet Holdings Group of Companies is moving on, and under the new circumstances is a step ahead of all work-in-progress. Studying the market with attention to detail as well as with attention to the adjustments to be adopted, Viva.gr has plans to offer solutions at the right time, and share it with all event producers and the society.
